Why should I come to you for treatment?
We work all treatment techniques into a full body massage giving you a more integrated treatment. We are qualified at BTEC level 5 – the the highest level of Sports & Remedial Massage in the UK.
Do I need a medical referral to book an appointment?
No medical referral is required. However, if you have any scans, reports & medications, please bring these with you.
What clothing should I wear?
We recommend wearing baggy shorts and for women, a loose top.
Is it OK to eat before treatment?
Please leave at least 1 hour before your treatment after eating.
How long does the initial treatment last?
The initial treatment lasts a maximum of 1 hour and consists of a consultation followed by examination and treatment.
How long does a follow-up treatment last?
Follow up treatment lasts between 30-45 minutes and consists of a short progress check followed by treatment.
Is it OK to bring someone along with me?
You are welcome to bring along a person with you.
Does it hurt?
The techniques should never hurt. We will select the most comfortable and suitable techniques for you and ask permission before doing any treatments.
How many treatments will it take to get me better?
It is impossible to give an estimation over the telephone. Once you have had an initial treatment, we will be able to advise you how many treatments you will most likely require.
Will you consult with my GP?
We will consult with you GP and other health professionals should the need arise, with your permission.
Who can we treat?
Generally everyone! The treatment will be tailored to specific problems or conditions/illnesses. In the rare case that you cannot be helped, no session fee will be required.
Do you do Regular check ups?
We are happy to do regular check-ups and more patients are taking advantage of this.
